DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Greeting customers with smiling face when customer enter the store.
  • Directs customers by escorting them to racks and counters
  • Assisting Customers to find the goods and products they are looking for. Giving advice and guidance by providing information on products
  • Answering queries from customers.
  • Up Selling / Show New arrivals and update Offers to the customers
  • Documents sale by creating or updating customer profile records.
  • Ensure Smooth Billing process, Explain and Enroll Loyalty programs and Thank the customer while he leave the store
  • Being responsible for processing cash and card payments.
  • Responsible dealing with customer complaints.
  • Be involved in stock control and management.
  • Stocking shelves with merchandise
  • Receiving and storing the stock
  • Keeping the store tidy and clean, this includes hovering and mopping.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Reporting discrepancies and problems to the Store Manager
  • Working within established guidelines, particularly with brands.
  • Responsible for security within the store and being on the look out for shoplifters and fraudulent credit cards etc.
  • Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays.

  • Having a friendly and engaging personality.
  • Comfortable working with team members and the public.
  • Should have a confident manner.
  • Must be helpful and polite.
  • You should have a comprehensive understanding of your area of sales i.e. retail, Fast Moving Consumer Goods, sports equipment etc.
  • Able to work as part of a sales team.
  • Knowledge of inventory techniques.
  • Should be of a smart appearance and articulate.
